I.M.A. to Revamp Web Site
The Industrial Mutual Association of Flint (I.M.A.) has contracted with Creative Web Spinner of Fenton to undertake a total facelift of their internet web site. The I.M.A. is a Genesee County-based non-profit organization, which seeks to provide social, recreational and educational programs and facilities for members and their families.
The I.M.A. is responsible for the business operations of Brookwood Golf Club and Banquet Center, IMAge Catering, IMA Vending and Ballenger and Memorial Parks in the Flint, Michigan area. The organization is also responsible for the Junior Golf Program and various baseball leagues in the Genesee County area.
The web building project is to be completed in two phases and is expected to expand the scope of information provided and enhance user experience when accessing the web site.
The goals of the first phase of the project are to rebuild the existing site giving it bolder corporate branding, improved ease of navigation, while providing an updated look. The first phase is slated for completion in late May.
The second phase of the project will feature interactive tools for site users allowing for online registration of events and activities. The streamlining of the site in phase two will also permit inclusion of more timely information and calendars of events. Improvements will include virtual tours of parks and banquet facilities, and the ability to notify Association members of upcomimg events via e-mail. Phase two is scheduled for completion and launch by mid-July 2007.
